Annette Gladigau

1961

Congratulations to Old Concordian Annette Gladigau (1961) on receiving a 2022 Mount Barker Council Active Citizenship Award for her organisation of two history festivals held in Nairne during her 15 years in the town, and for actively improving the presentation of the town by maintaining street plants. Annette is currently in the process of initiating a "Nairne History Chat Group" to meet monthly and catch up with some of the long-time residents of Nairne, to share their memories and learn more of the history, as well as volunteering for several local groups.

Annette commented, “I love chatting with the older residents, because there is so much history to be found about this place.”
