Robin Eckermann

Robin Eckermann was recognised on Australia Day 2018 as a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia "for significant service to the telecommunications industry through roles in broadband infrastructure and network development, and to the energy supply sector". A pioneer in the Australian telecommunications industry for over two decades, Robin led the establishment of Canberra-based provider TransACT and in 2016 he was elevated to the Pearcey Hall of Fame. Currently he shares his knowledge and expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Canberra University.
