In 2018 Ben was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, and was the recipient of the Terry Lavender Scholarship. One hundred and twelve inspired Australians will travel throughout the world in 2019 as recipients of the prestigious Churchill Fellowship, offering them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit other countries and investigate inspiring practices that will benefit Australian communities.

In 2019, Ben will be exploring opportunities for outdoor trail destinations to attract and grow world class shared-use interests, he will travel to New Zealand, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland and the Netherlands to speak to, explore and learn from the best in the outdoor industry.
