Year 8 camp was different to usual. It was still held down at Adare House, Victor Harbor. We were split into 10 tribes with whom we completed our activities, to earn points to receive a prize at the end of the three days. The Argonauts came out on top! We participated in some fun activities over the time we were at Adare House. These included shelter building, bodyboarding, kayaking, a giant swing called the Flying Kiwi, raft making, obstacle courses and many more. We all had great fun!
On the Thursday we travelled down to Glenelg. We did some team-building activities which included soccer, capture the flag, Pictionary, noughts and crosses, and word making. We also went to the Beachouse, where we enjoyed water slides, dodgem cars, bumper boats and arcade games.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable week. We know we speak for everyone when we say we would definitely go back there if we could! We would also like to say thank you to Mrs Austin and all staff who accompanied and put up with us on camp!
