Concordia College has been given a wonderful opportunity to be a part of an exciting pilot platform called Daughters and Dads Cricket.
Our school is the first venue in South Australia to have such a program on offer, utilising our gymnasium and College Oval!
Developed by the University of Newcastle, the program is a combination of cricket skills and wellbeing education for Primary School girls 7-12 years and their dads (or father figure).
This nine-week program commences on Sundays at 12:00pm – 1:30pm from Sunday 16 October – Sunday 11 December.
Each session involves a 30-minute theory and 60-minute practical component and has been specifically designed to provide tools to breakdown participation barriers, as well as empowering daughters and their dads to complete the program with a new set of physical and socio-emotional skills.
To find out more about this program, download a flyer or visit www.daughtersanddads.com.au. Alternatively, you can contact hdouglas-hill@saca.com.au
