Concordia College is a Lutheran Church of Australia school, often referred to as the LCA.

One of the LCA’s mottos is: ‘Whoever you are, whatever your story, you’re welcome here with us.’ As a school of the LCA, we want that to be true for everyone in our community. We want to truly know and understand every person.

To enable us to do this, the College Board has adopted a Policy called Respecting and valuing gender diverse, intersex and sexually diverse students in Lutheran Learning Communities. This Policy (click to view) was created by a team of staff from eleven different Lutheran schools (including Pastor Dale and our Senior School Counsellor, Maria) and adopted by the LESNW Board.

The Policy reminds us that every person is a unique creation of God, and is therefore a person loved, valued and accepted.
