Hi all and a big welcome to Term 4!
We are excited to get back into the swing of things after a busy and enjoyable Vacation Care program.
Children enjoyed a range of exciting excursions, with highlights including visits to the St Kilda Playground, Central Market, AFL Max and Adelaide Zoo. Back at OSHC, children loved creating their own stalls on Market Day, getting their hands dirty with nature play and a mud kitchen, going crazy on the jumping castle and playing plenty of sport in the sunshine! We thank Educator Liam for his organisation of a great program once again.
As we reflect on our Vacation Care experience, we wish to highlight and convey our pride in how the children showed great relationships, respect, responsibility and risk taking over this period. We love continually seeing the children grow through different experiences and challenging themselves to try new things outside their comfort zone.
Looking forward to Term 4, we are excited to enjoy the spring sunshine with lots of outdoor play and activities. We also welcome back OSHC Camp on Friday 11 November for children in Years 3–7. We will be staying at Adelaide Shores Discovery Parks – Semaphore and exploring all the park has to offer. Please email Jenny Wei to express interest in attending as spots are limited.
If you have any questions regarding the upcoming term, please be in contact with any of our friendly educators.
Kindly,
Alexandra Barratt
OSHC Assistant Director
