The Music Department was very excited to host the 2022 Middle School Vocal Concert in the College Chapel on Wednesday afternoon, after a few years of enforced cancellations. After enjoying a delicious afternoon tea, the appreciative audience of friends and family were entertained by the delightful voices of our Middle School vocalists. With a stage beautifully decorated with Christmas lights, we heard solo items from students having vocal lessons at the College. Supporting these students were the Year 7 and 8 and Year 9 Choirs. These ensembles shared toe-tapping numbers including “Not Perfect” by Tim Minchin and “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins. We thank our soloists Sophia, Hannah, Sienna, Mia, Jack, Rebecca, Adele, Portia, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Matilda, Will, Archer, Maddi and Tom for their wonderful performances. Our thanks are also extended to their Vocal Tutors and the Piano Accompanists for helping each student prepare for this performance opportunity.
