As a culmination of our unit of work based on “Essen in Deutschland" (Food in Germany), all Year 3 students had the opportunity to sample a wide range of German foods, including brezeln (pretzels), kaese (German cheese), wurst (German sausage) and beloved gummibaerchen (gummy bears). Students were excited to be able to use their new learnt vocabulary to talk about the different foods and they thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try some new foods connected to the German culture. It was a rich and engaging learning experience. Guten appetit!
