Last year, two Year 11 students (Maddie 12CFIL and Claudia 12KNIC) involved in the Student Leader-led Forum requested that the College consider providing sanitary products in the student bathrooms, rather than making them available only from the Student Services Office.

After raising this matter with the College’s Gender Equity Group, undertaking a trial in Term 4 of 2022 and exploring the best partnership to address this need, we are pleased to share with the community that students now have access to both tampons and pads in the Murtoa and Peace Building female toilets on the Middle and Senior School Campus.

We are grateful for the ways in which student ideas and initiatives can come to life at Concordia!
