So much has occurred this term and so much more is still to come for staff and students in the Middle and Senior School. Term 1 has certainly been characterised by lots of activity, an abundance of quality learning and a plethora of outstanding achievements, many of which have been communicated to families through various platforms in recent weeks. Last week’s successful Sports Day was a great example. Congratulations to Malvern House for their success and to all students who participated for their House.
With less than three weeks until we celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour on Easter Sunday and reach the end of Term 1 a week later, relevant staff and students are busy preparing for the performances of the College Musical, All Shook Up, and Year 12 students no doubt have their Formal front and centre of their thoughts. I know both endeavours will be outstanding successes.
I would also draw to the attention of parents and caregivers the Learning Conversation events on the College Calendar. These are the opportunity for parents and carers to meet with their children and their respective subject teachers to discuss learning progress made during Term 1.
Tuesday 2 May will be a pupil-free day to allow teachers to be free to conduct Learning Conversations from 11am-6pm via teleconferencing using Microsoft Teams.
A second round of meeting times will be offered on Thursday 11 May after school between 4-8pm in person. More details about these important events and how parents and carers can book meetings will be sent out later this term.
