On Thursday 11 May, the Royal Geographical Society of South Australia held their Annual Awards ceremony in the Mortlock wing of the State Library. Two former Concordia students were presented with Awards by the Governor of South Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, and her husband, Mr Rod Bunton.
Elijah (Class of 2022) was presented with two awards:
- The John Lewis Medal for Excellence in Secondary School Geography for obtaining equal top highest marks in SACE Stage 2 Geography
- The SA Geographers’ Fieldwork Award, highlighting outstanding success in an individual inquiry-based task which has a distinct focus on fieldwork and data collection. It was presented by the Geography Teachers’ Association of SA.
Jack (Class of 2021) was presented with an Award from The Royal Geographical Society for Top First Year Geography student at the University of Adelaide.
