During National Reconciliation Week, Year 5TB had a conversation about First Nations Australians' connection to land, respecting the fact that First Nations Australians have lived on this land for over 60,000 years (approximately).

To help us remember and respect this connection to the land, students constructed a giant paper chain in the colours of the Aboriginal flag. The paper chain consists of 240 of these chain links with one blue chain link representing 250 years - the time spent here by European arrivals.
