Stage 1 Business Innovation students have been putting their entrepreneurial skills to work this term, creating small businesses to generate real revenue, to be donated to charity.

The businesses the students developed were wide ranging. They resulted in students selling the following products and services:

  • candles
  • bakery treats
  • dog treats
  • reclaimed golf ball packs
  • jewellery
  • kool-aid cordial
  • T-shirts
  • travel merchandise
  • custom donuts
  • promotional videos
  • shoe restoration.

In the end, over $650 worth of profit was donated to the following charities:

  • RSPCA
  • Royal Flying Doctor Service
  • See Differently
  • Share the Dignity.

The students are congratulated on a successful unit of work and on achieving this pleasing result, which has allowed them to donate funds towards some worthy causes.
