Our Year 12 Media students had the opportunity to visit two Adelaide-based visual effects companies and two digital media training institutions during a recent excursion.

During the excursion, students visited:

• MPC Adelaide
• Rising Sun Pictures
• AIE
• SAE

The excursion gave students an insight into what it is like to work in the industry, the different types of roles that are available and what they actually do. It also allowed them to see some of the world-leading companies that exist right here in Adelaide that they could work for. These companies (Rising Sun Pictures and MPC) work on Marvel Films and a range of other Hollywood Blockbusters. A wonderful learning experience!
