On the final Wednesday of Term 2, the Little Saints (ELC students entering Reception mid-year) at St Peters Campus participated in their final transition session in readiness to begin school this term. Their achievement was marked with a small award ceremony in the Reception classroom with Miss Wilson and Mrs Benger. The students have participated in the programme throughout Term 1 and 2. Each week they have had a little ‘taste’ of what it is like to be at school. 

During our sessions we have enjoyed learning, practising our fine motor skills, games, play and of course, a story! These sessions are also an opportunity for the children to become familiar with the many routines and structures of a school day and the children have also had the opportunity to join us for Morning Break play as well, navigating the big outside space to play and explore. We now welcome the Little Saints into the Reception class at St Peters Campus and cannot wait to see them grow and thrive as beautiful learners!
