Last term, the St Peters Campus Receptions were inquiring into the theme 'How We Express Ourselves'. Throughout the unit we explored how we can identify and express our own feelings, as well as understand the feelings of others. As part of the unit, we inquired into how feelings and emotions can be communicated through artwork. On Wednesday 28 July, Amanda and Caitlin from Little Picassos came and led the Receptions through creating some artwork that depicted different emotions. We learnt how different lines, colours and details communicate a range of feelings and we had a go at using these skills in creating two pieces of art. The Receptions are very proud of the art they created and it is currently on display in the Junior Primary Hallway for everyone to enjoy!
