Congratulations to Ethan 1MR, who participated in the Adelaide Eisteddfod - Piano Division in June and secured 1st place in Grade 1 Piano Solo and an Honourable Mention in the 7 Years and Under Own Choice Piano Solo category.
Concordia also congratulates the following students who have been selected to represent South Australia in sporting competitions:
- Annabel 9TPRE has been selected as a member of the State Cross Country team
- Harriet 7LTHO has been selected as a member of the U12 State Girls' Football team
Congratulations to Jayden 1MR and Xavier 3ER, who recently competed at the GRK Regional Karate Tournament June 2023. Jayden won a Gold Medal for Kata and Silver medal for Kumite in his age divison. Xavier won a Bronze medal for Kata in his age division. In addition, Xavier won 3rd place in the Grade 3 Piano Solo Competition at the Adelaide Eisteddfod - a wonderful reward for his hard work over the last few months in preparation for the event.
Well done to Ava 9TMOR, Imogen 9TMOR and Annabel 9TPRE, who have been selected to represent SA at the Under 15 Girls' Lacrosse Nationals being held in Ballarat in September. We wish them all the best as they prepare to compete.
Concordia congratulates Year 10 student Milly 10TMOO, who represented Australia on the international sporting stage for a second time during the school holidays. Milly played as a member of the Aussie Goalball team at the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) U19 Youth World Championships in Brazil. The Australian team finished second, winning the silver medal and Milly added another 13 international goals to her individual player stats. An extraordinary achievement!
Well done to St Peters Campus students Elena (ELC) and Charli (Year 3) who were prize winners at the South Australian 2023 Festival of Quilts. Elena won the Junior - First Place prize for her quilt titled 'I want to make a rainbow quilt'. Charli won the Junior - Third Place and VIP Special Award for her quilt titled 'Going Round in Circles'.
