The Year 3 students enjoyed a wonderful time exploring the South Australian Museum on Monday of Week 2, Term 3. The Australian Aboriginal Cultures and Pacific Cultures collections held special interest for us as part of our inquiry into 'Connection to Country' through our 'Where We Are In Place and Time' unit. Other highlights included:

• viewing the Giant Squid
• seeing the amazing array of fossils, meteorites and minerals
• exploring the Biodiversity Gallery
• decoding hieroglyphics in the Ancient Egyptian room!
