At the end of Term 2, 85 Year 11 students - a record number - took part in a full-day first aid training course run by St John’s First Aid. Energised by a delicious morning tea, the students engaged in the course with enthusiasm, gaining skills and knowledge that will be highly valuable should they ever find themselves in an emergency situation. The course was also of vocational interest to students interested in a career in medical or nursing-related fields. The trainers provided very positive feedback on the students and all of the students completed the course successfully.
