Over the past week we have been very fortunate to have award-winning Australian author Deborah Abela as an Author-in-Residence working across our three campuses. Deb worked extensively with Year 7 and 8 students through three writers' workshops to support them to develop their creative writing skills. At St Peters and St John's she presented to all Year 3-6 students. Her books have flown off the shelves and there has been a buzz of excitement around the College about reading and creative writing. We are very grateful to Deborah for sharing her extraordinary authorial knowledge and experience with us.
