Thursday 31 August

On Thursday 31 August, a talented team of Concordia basketballers faced Nazareth and Trinity College, two very competitive schools with well-established basketball programs. Concordia fought back from trailing behind Nazareth, but unfortunately lost the first game 28-32. The next game was physical and went back and forth, but Trinity managed to gain a lead in the last few minutes, ending the game 41-43. Nari, Izzy and Poppy were standout players on the day, each contributing with incredible fast breaks, steals and assists.

Netball (Year 7/8 Final Round)

Tuesday 29 August

  • Game 1: CC defeated Tenison Woods: 32-25. Best players: Becky and Sophie.
  • Game 2: CC defeated Sacred Heart: 12-26. Best players: Zoe and Ada.
  • Game 3: CC defeated Trinity: 35-23. Best players: Elise and Sophie.
  • Grand Final: CC lost to Tenison Woods: 24-40. Best players: Annabelle and Sophie.

  • Game 1: CC lost to St John's Grammar: 0-2.
