This year, Concordia entered eight ensembles into the ABODA Band and Orchestra competitions held at Westminster School, and all represented the College with distinction.

Our results are below, but I want to mention what a pleasure it was to take the students involved into the public arena. They worked exactly as teams should, supporting and assisting each other, offering motivation and/or consolation, and followed instructions from their teachers and ensemble leaders with a view to not only performing musically, but so they’d function as cohesive, collaborative units.

My thanks also to the talented and dedicated Music teaching team and to the outstanding ensemble directors we are blessed to have at Concordia.
