Congratulations to Jayden 1MR and Xavier 3ER, who participated in the Mathematics Abacus Mental Arithmetic competition this year. Both boys have been awarded second prize in their age group divisions - an excellent achievement.

Congratulations to Eva 7SMAR, who recently received a South Australian English Teachers' Association (SAETA) Spring Poetry Festival Anthology Contribution award for her poem titled 'Blackbirds' - a fantastic achievement!

Congratulations to Hunter 9SWHI, who recently competed at the All Schools Athletics Championships. His results were as follows:

• 2nd - 100m with a Personal Best time of 11.20sec
• 2nd - 200m with a Persona Best time of 23.31sec

Hunter has now qualified to compete in the National Competition held in December this year in Perth. We wish Hunter all the best as he prepares for the Nationals.
