As we conclude another school year, it's a wonderful opportunity to reflect and celebrate the shared values that make our community at Concordia College so special. This College, with a rich history dating back to 1890 under the guidance of Pastor Wilhelm Peters, is more than just a school; it's a living legacy of a holistic approach to education underpinned by Christian values.

Pastor Peters, our founder, taught us, "In the pursuit of knowledge, let us never forget the heart of true wisdom: a commitment to serve, a spirit of compassion, and a life lived in accordance with our faith." These profound words continue to capture the essence of our mission at Concordia College.

In today's world, which can often feel challenging, our College stands as a testament to a different way of life that upholds care, compassion, and community. Here, we are taught to excel academically and grow into individuals who exemplify the Christian spirit of selfless love.

Reminiscent of Mother Teresa's words, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love", our College embraces and practices this ethos, encouraging us all to find greatness in small acts of love and kindness.

As this school year draws to a close, let us embrace gratitude for the nurturing environment that has allowed us all to learn and grow. The lessons of kindness, compassion, and community we have learned here are invaluable as we apply them in all walks of life.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated teachers and support staff for their immense dedication throughout the year. My appreciation also goes to our College Leadership Team, Board, and Sub-Committees for their wise guidance and leadership.

A special thank you to our parent community, whose ongoing support and partnership have been instrumental in shaping the lives of our young and vibrant students.

I wish all our students and their families a blessed Christmas season and a restful break. The upcoming 2024 school year is set to be transformative for Concordia College, with some exciting leadership appointments at the College that will enhance our focus on providing dynamic and future-focused learning opportunities for our students.

As I look forward to my seventh year of service at this incredible College, I am filled with excitement for the future.
