At the Year 11 Assembly in Week 6, a number of students were recognised for outstanding achievement, and service to the College.
Badges were presented to the 2024 Action Leaders, and certificates were presented to three Year 11 students who achieved the highest grade in a Stage 2 subject:
- Frederik 11DWHE – German Continuers
- Luke 11EBAB – Activating Identities and Futures
- Sean 11EBAB – Music Performance Ensemble
Additionally, Victoria 11DWHE was presented with the Lutheran Women of SA & NT Encouragement Award. This is an annual award that is presented to a student who demonstrates outstanding commitment to their studies and faith, and actively serves their community. Victoria epitomises all of the qualities recognised by this award. She willingly assists at Chapel services, including special occasions such as the All Saints' Day service. She is a humble leader, who serves both the College community and the wider community, including through initiatives such as Walk my Way. Victoria served within her congregation for the service component of her Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. She is a supportive friend and committed student, who displays loyalty, initiative and reliability in all areas of College life, and this award is richly deserved.
