Our Year 2 students from St Peters campus recently visited The Planetarium at the University of South Australia, as part of their Term 1 unit of inquiry, ‘How We Organise Ourselves.’

Immersed in a captivating presentation about the solar system, students experienced a digital full dome spectacle, courtesy of NASA's technology. They delved into the mysteries of the solar system, exploring the orbits of planets, the moon, the galaxy, and star constellations.

The excitement didn’t end there! Our Year 2 inquirers also watched a multi-sensory movie from National Geographic, offering a glimpse into the weather phenomena of the solar system.
