Surrounded by students, staff and invited special guests, we gathered during Reconciliation Week to reaffirm our commitment to peace locally and globally. An initiative of Rotary Adelaide and Rotary in South Australia, our Peace Pole was donated to Concordia College by grandparent Oliver Clark AO. Peace Poles are messaged with ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’.

The Peace Pole program had its beginnings in 1955. You can now find Peace Poles in close to 200 countries with over 250,000 placed around the world. They are one of the most recognised monuments dedicated to peace on earth. Peace Poles have the Universal Peace Message ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’ written on each side in four languages, ours is written in Kaurna, German, Mandarin and English. They symbolise our common wish for a world at peace.
