St Peters Campus Year 2 Monarto Zoo Excursion

20 June 2024

The Year 2 students from St Peters Campus recently visited Monarto Zoo. The trip was not just a day of adventure, but an invaluable learning opportunity about global conservation efforts aimed at preserving wildlife.

During their visit, our students had the privilege of getting up close with a variety of animals, witnessing firsthand the conservation initiatives that are crucial for their survival. From majestic giraffes to playful meerkats, each encounter provided a deeper understanding of the challenges these species face and the importance of protecting their natural habitats.

The students engaged in discussions about what they can do to contribute to wildlife conservation in their own ways. It was heartening to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they interacted with the zookeepers and learned about the ongoing efforts to ensure the survival of these endangered species.

We believe experiences like these play a vital role in shaping our students into compassionate and environmentally conscious individuals. We are grateful to Monarto Zoo for providing such a rich and memorable experience for our Year 2 students.
