Friday 20 September saw over 250 students from all three campuses come together to perform on stage. The theme for the evening, 'Endless Possibilities', was inspired by a speech given to staff by our Head of College, Mr Weinert, and we in the Music Department like to think Music Education epitomises this!

Music teaches students to strive for perfection, to be confident, that failure is OK (and sometimes a good thing), to work hard, to be trustworthy, to be committed, to focus, to care about themselves and others, to express themselves and deal with emotions, to make friends (or make an extended family!), but most importantly it teaches students to have fun. This was highlighted throughout the night by how much fun and enjoyment the students had on their faces every time they stepped on stage.

We thank everyone from within the College community that made this Concert possible – it truly was a community that allowed this wonderful event to happen. We hope to see you all again at next year’s Concert!
