In Week 8, our St Peters Campus Reception students embarked on an exciting excursion to Cleland Wildlife Park, where they experienced the wonder of getting up close with some of Australia's most iconic animals. The children had the chance to pat and feed a variety of native species, from kangaroos to emus, and even had the special opportunity to meet koalas up close.
A highlight of the day was a session with the wildlife keepers, who introduced us to more of God's wonderful creatures. The students learned about the external features of the animals and how these unique adaptations help them survive in their natural habitats. It was an educational and enjoyable experience that brought our classroom learning to life, reminding us of the beauty and diversity of God’s creation!
