Welcome to Term 3! I hope your start to the term has been pleasant and productive. 

Term 3 is often a very busy time of the year with many important decisions to be made by both parents and students in the Middle and Senior School years particularly, regarding future subjects, studies and career choices. To keep you informed, here are some key updates and information on what’s happening this term:

• Wednesday 31 July: The internal Subject Expo for Year 9, 10, and 11 students took place. This event provided students with the opportunity to research and explore potential subject choices for the upcoming year by speaking with subject teachers.
• Week 4: Subject selections and counselling for Year 9, 10, and 11 students are happening throughout this week. During this process, students will select their subjects for the upcoming academic year.
• Monday 5 August: SATAC university applications open for Year 12 students. This is the process through which students apply for their desired degrees at South Australian tertiary education providers. Additional information and guidance will be provided to Year 12 students throughout the term.
  
• Friday 9 August to Sunday 11 August: The Open Days for The University of Adelaide , University of South Australia, Flinders University and Tabor College occur. These events offer a great opportunity to tour university campuses and learn about various career and study pathways. These Open Days are invaluable in helping Year 12 students finalise their SATAC applications and assist Year 9, 10, and 11 students in choosing the most relevant subjects that align with their future study and career interests. I strongly encourage students to visit the relevant tertiary education institution websites for detailed information about their Open Days and to get along and gather information.
• Friday 9 August: We will be taking all Year 11 students to the Flinders University Open Day to support their future subject and career planning.
