Next week, from Sunday 1 to Saturday 7 September, is National Child Protection Week - an initiative that aims to promote "a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future". The theme for this year's National Child Protection Week is 'Every child in every community needs a fair go' and ‘Every conversation matters’.
Student safety is of upmost importance to Concordia College, and we encourage families to have regular conversations about personal safety, and to encourage an atmosphere of openness and honesty.
Some tips for talking to children about personal safety can be found in the attached flyer from the National Association for Prevention of Child abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN).
