Sharing Students' Successes

The end of the school year delivers many exciting learning opportunities that allow the students to display their knowledge, skills and creativity, while also fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment within the College community. In Term 4 at Concordia, we have two significant events that celebrate the learning and growth of the students in our College from ELC-12 in interesting and engaging ways.

Year 6 PYP Exhibitions

The Year 6 Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYPX) will take place at St John’s Campus on Tuesday 26 November and at St Peters Campus on Wednesday 27 November. The PYPX serves as a culmination of the students' learning in the Primary Years Programme, allowing them to explore real-world issues and demonstrate their understanding through inquiry-based projects. This year, our Year 6 students have worked diligently to research, collaborate and create presentations that reflect their learning journeys. By presenting their findings to peers, teachers and families, students gain invaluable experience in public speaking and critical thinking. This event not only showcases their hard work but also inspires younger students by providing them with role models who are actively engaged in their learning.

Launchpad for ELC-12

On Tuesday 19 November, we will host Launchpad, an event designed to highlight the learning experiences of students from Early Learning Centre (ELC) through to Year 12. Launchpad invites students to present their projects and achievements, offering a comprehensive view of the learning pathways available within our school. This event encourages students to take ownership of their education, developing skills in creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Launchpad is not only an opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements but also a chance for families and the community to engage with the diverse, supportive and dynamic learning environment we foster at Concordia College.

We encourage all families to attend these events and support our students as they highlight their incredible learning achievements. Together, we can celebrate their hard work, inspire one another, and continue to cultivate a vibrant learning community.

Mark your calendars and join us to celebrate our students’ achievements:

  • Launchpad (ELC-12): Tuesday, 19 November in the Fortiter Gymnasium (Concordia Campus)
  • Year 6 PYP Exhibition – St John’s Campus: Tuesday, 26 November in Wirrkuta Trruku
  • Year 6 PYP Exhibition – St Peters Campus: Wednesday, 27 November in the St Peters Campus library

Come support our students as they showcase their learning and accomplishments. We look forward to seeing you there!
