The Year 3 students recently learned about the functions of the Metropolitan Fire Service which works within our local community, the design and technology advancements that help keep people safe from danger, and the special talents and gifts Christians believe God has given to people as they serve in their vocations. We enjoyed a tour of the Glen Osmond Fire Station, where we hit targets with our skilful use of the firehose and explored the fire truck with its portable equipment used to fight fires and make rescues. We especially appreciated meeting our friendly and knowledgeable fire fighters who taught us how to keep safe.
