Each year, Concordia College competes in the Australian HPV (Human Powered Vehicles) series, better known as Pedal Prix.
Students wishing to be involved in the 2025 Pedal Prix program are encouraged to register by Friday 6 December. See details below.
What is involved in Pedal Prix 2025?
Pedal Prix is an extra-curricular activity that involves teams of students from Years 7-12 working together to keep specially designed trikes cycling around closed circuit tracks during a range of timed events. Teams are categorised into age groups and compete against many schools from around Australia in five exciting races across Terms 1-3. The College raced five teams in 2024, with much success, achieving podium positions and top 10 results across various categories.
Students will be involved in fitness and track training sessions leading up to these races. Students will learn about personal fitness and work closely with students from all year levels to achieve common goals as a team. Pedal Prix is a whole community activity that requires support and assistance from parents and school staff throughout the season.
