Year 10 Drama students performed Bluebottles by Caleb Lewis on Wednesday 20 November. Through a fast-paced series of vignettes co-written with teenagers in 2019, the play explored the hidden fears and anxieties that shape young people. The irony and black comedy featured in the text resonated with the audience and the ensemble rose to the occasion, covering last-minute absences, and showcased their performance, costume, multimedia and sound design skills. This cohort has been the first to receive SACE Stage 1 credits in Year 10 as the Drama Faculty explores the flexibility of the SACE, and the students demonstrated high-level skills. Congratulations to the Year 10 class!
