I had the delight of attending the Graduation Ceremony for one of our Year 10 students Claire 10SSCH, following her participation in the Youth Governor's Leadership Foundation program. The program seeks to help teenagers develop into confident, resilient and empowered young people who act to make a change in their community. Through the program, Claire has been able to work with her peers, allowing her to be self-aware and confident in her leadership skills.

Students apply their learnings through a 12-week community action project, working in small, diverse teams to progress a challenge for a not-for-profit organisation. CanDo 4 Kids was the Charity that Claire chose to support through the Loud Shirt day with the Year 10s where $136 was raised
