St Peters Campus Junior Primary Food Design Visit

On Tuesday, 26 November, the St Peters Campus Reception class and Year 2 class had exciting and enriching visits to the Food Technology space at the Middle and Senior School campus. These visits were a wonderful opportunity for our young students to practice the skill of being a 'super introducer,' as they got to know their Year 9 and 10 friends, who supported and cared for them throughout the day.

The visits were filled with fun and learning as the students engaged in various activities. Reception students enjoyed making delicious pizzas and festive Christmas fruit kebabs, which allowed them to explore new foods and cooking techniques. The creativity didn't stop there; the students also made beautiful Christmas crafts, adding a touch of holiday spirit to the experience.

During their visit, the Year 2 students decorated gingerbread houses, producing some amazing creations.

It was heartwarming to witness the interactions between students from both campuses. The Middle School students were exceptional role models, providing guidance and support to the younger ones. Their kindness and patience helped create a positive and encouraging environment.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their bravery and courage in trying new experiences, foods and meeting new friends. These visits not only enhanced their social skills, but they also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the students.

Overall, the visits to the Concordia Campus Food Design space were memorable and valuable experiences for everyone involved. We look forward to sharing in many more collaborative events that bring our students together and enrich their learning journeys.
