Hosting a Fringe show at the College for the first time in 2025, Concordia’s Drama students wowed audiences with their talent, professionalism and storytelling ability. The show itself was an original play devised by Drama Coordinator Aldo Longobardi in conjunction with, and performed initially by, the Year 11 Drama class of 2024. Many of these students reprised their roles for the 2025 Fringe season and received some excellent feedback from audiences.
"A very talented cast."
"Amazing talented bunch of young actors."
"Great story well told by some young talented Adelaide performers."
"Surprisingly excellent. The actors are school students but so professional and engaging. Easily the best show I've seen this Fringe. ... the script is detailed and meaningful, the acting is next level in this fast-paced show."
To add to the festival atmosphere, Food and Hospitality students made dumplings for guests to purchase at each show, and our Jazz Combo performed in the courtyard on closing night – a wonderful example of collaboration across learning areas, and a perfect way to showcase some of what makes Concordia extraordinary.
