Recently, we were delighted to receive the news that two Concordia staff members had received awards for their outstanding service in the field of education.
Our Learning Resources Manager, Hajnalka Molloy, received the Joan Brewer Award from the School Librarian Association of SA, an award which acknowledges her ‘outstanding service to teacher librarianship and/or school libraries in SA’.
Just a short time later, we congratulated Concordia Campus Director of Student Learning, Paul Bannister, on receiving a Noel Volk Award from AISSA. These awards are presented for outstanding service to AISSA and/or its member schools. Here is some more information about Paul’s work with AISSA:
Paul has been a highly regarded contributor and leader to the sector in both his role as Chair of the Secondary Curriculum Reference Group and his involvement in the AISSA Leadership Program. He recently completed a three-year tenure as Chair of the SCRG and has generously shared much of his school’s progressive work with members of the sector in a range of settings. He has also been engaged in teaching and learning initiatives as a ‘first mover’ in areas often recognised as challenging and difficult to change and has willingly shared his learning with interested schools.
We are proud to have staff of an extremely high calibre across the College and we take this opportunity to particularly acknowledge these two staff members for their contribution to Concordia and to the broader educational community.
