The 2024 winter sports season saw students achieving some outstanding results in boys' and girls' basketball and volleyball.

Coming off of back-to-back premierships over the last two years in the Sports Association for Adelaide Schools (SAAS) competition, our Middle A1 basketball team rose to the challenge of securing a three-peat, winning the championship by two points! To take out top prize three years in a row is nothing short of extraordinary and we congratulate the team on this incredible result.

Our Open A1 boys' basketball earned the opportunity to defend their 2023 SAAS title with another strong effort in 2024. Unfortunately, the grand final result didn't go our way; however, the boys are congratulated on their strong performance across the season. The boys will now play off for third place. Meanwhile in the statewide knockout competition, our Open team has qualified for the quarter finals and we wish them all the very best.

At the three-day statewide Volleyball SA Schools Cup event, our Open boys' team won gold in Division 1, while our girl's team played in the Honours division - the highest possible grade - and earned a bronze medal.

We congratulate all of the students and coaches involved in these excellent results as we look ahead to summer sport in Term 4.
